Ride the P.R. wave to Santa Cruz April 10-12 for CCPRO’s 2024 Conference, “MarComm by the Sea.” This year’s conference will take place at the newly renovated Hotel Paradox, just one mile fromthe historic Santa Cruz Boardwalk and adjacent to the heart of vibrant downtown Santa Cruz.

If you’re looking for a conference that packs some punch, but doesn’t punch a huge hole in your budget, this is it. We’re working on a great lineup of presentations and workshops to inspire you, simplify some of your challenges, and leave you feeling good about your accomplishments.

Sign up for our FREE Wednesday evening excursion to the Boardwalk (space is limited), featuring food, conversations around the firepit, and some of the best classic rides anywhere, including the Giant Dipper, one of the oldest wooden rollercoasters in the U.S.

Get inspired by our keynote speaker, tech pioneer Guy Kawasaki. Get some great ideas from funky Santa Cruz-area businesses that have had smashing success at marketing to Gen Z audiences and get a crash course on writing an integrated marketing plan at our not-to-be-missed preconference event. These and many other highlights await you.

Celebrating 40 years, the Community Colleges Public Relations Organization (CCPRO) serves marketing and communications professionals at California’s community colleges.

CCPRO’s annual conference offers workshops on a variety of topics related to community college marketing, including government relations, crisis communications, event planning, and social media management.

One of the highlights of the conference is the PRO Awards Dinner in which we celebrate the outstanding work by our California community college marketing peers.
