Video and audio are among the most powerful tools in teaching—and among the most common sources of accessibility gaps. Institutions must ensure that multimedia content is accessible, including accurate captions, transcripts, and appropriate audio description.
Experiential Workshop
Through hands-on activities using tools you already have—and A.I. integrated throughout—you’ll actively apply A.I. to generate captions and transcripts, evaluate multimedia content, and make improvements efficiently—in real time.
— Learn how ADA Title II and WCAG 2.1 Level AA apply to video and audio content, including captions, transcripts, and audio description
— Explore common accessibility barriers in recorded lectures, instructional videos, and audio content
— Gain skills to create/edit captions, transcripts, and accessible multimedia using widely available tools
— Practice using A.I. to generate, review, and improve captions and transcripts efficiently
— Acquire practical strategies to build accessible multimedia workflows for both new and existing content
