Growth Mindset, Metacognition and Active Learning within Calculus focuses on building student capacity and a culture of growth mindset through active learning activities within Calculus 1 and Calculus 2 with support. Attendees will learn how to construct a thinking classroom to develop skills such as adaptability, critical thinking, and metacognition to enhance students’ understanding of Calculus concepts and increase course retention.
