Strong Workforce for CEOs and Trustees

The Community College League of California developed two series of videos to assist CEOs and trustees learn more about career education and develop robust programs. Each of the two modules are broken into five sections, such as “Implementing a Regional Approach for CTE” (for CEOs) and “The Trustee Role in Building High Quality CTE Programs” (for trustees).

Dual Enrollment

Dual enrollment programs help increase career and college readiness, achieve educational equity, and increase access to post-secondary education. This module provides a brief introduction to dual enrollment and then explores the specifics of the students, courses, schools, and faculty that will most benefit from a CCAP agreement and how an agreement can be initiated.

Improving Equity in Campus Hiring

Diversity in campus hiring improves equity in student outcomes, and the greatest gains are seen by historically underrepresented student populations. This module covers the benefits, ongoing need, and practical application of improving equitable hiring at the California Community Colleges. Participants will also learn about several promising practices related to equity in campus hiring.
